Welcome to our tournament entry page!

THE Ashover Summer Football Tournament remains among the most popular youth soccer events outside of the regular football season.

Set in the stunning scenery of Ashover Primary School, a stone's throw from some of the best pubs in the area, the tournament provides a magnificent setting for youth football and a family day out. Our focus is on football rather than making money, which is why the Ashover Summer Football Tournament remains the least expensive event to enter in the region at just £20 per team.

With cheap car parking on site as well as refreshments available throughout the day, it's little wonder our tournament attracts teams from across the county and beyond, season after season.

There is no need to make a payment now, just submit your entry details below and we will be in touch to make arrangements. For more details, see our tournament rules and Frequently Asked Questions below.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time will we need to arrive?

We'll confirm for each age group nearer the time, but please allow 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure the team is registered and all your players have arrived.

How long do matches last?

This will depend on the number of teams that enter and how we arrange the groups. Normally, each match is between 10-15 minutes. We make sure we comply with the FA rules on the maximum number of minutes per day per age group.

I've got a ninth player in my squad - can I bring him/her?

We don't want anyone to be excluded, so if managers choose to bring more than eight players then that is OK - but please note that there will only be eight player trophies for the winning team in each category, and a maximum of eight players can be involved in any individual game so in such circumstances you will need to rest players.

Is there a category for next season's Under 7s?

No - but we are prepared to accept underage entries within the limits set out by the FA. However, please be sure that every player is aged at least six. Under FA rules, no player should be involved in any form of arranged match until they have reached the age of six.

What time will we finish?

Again, this depends on numbers of entries, but we would expect each category to last around two hours.

Can we bring dogs?

Dogs are welcome, but please ensure they remain on a lead at all times and clean up after them.

How do I pay for my entry?

Once you've submitted your entry, we'll be in touch in due course with details. You can either pay online or using telephone banking, post us a cheque or even deliver cash if you prefer.
